Welcome to the Summer 1994 issue of slack OnLine!

slack is a free monthy news magazine published in Madison, WI (and now globally on the the World Wide Web). This is our first Web-published issue, so we're interested in your comments and criticisms. slack covers local, national, international and cyberspace issues each month with somewhat equal emphasis. Some of the local stories may not be pertinant to you if you live on the other side of the globe, then again, they may be. Most cities have more in common than not.

We've included all the text and art from the paper-published issue that we distribute in Wisconsin's "Land of Oz" with only minor exceptions. We've included the original Publisher's Statement July 94 from the magazine, along with our infamous rendering of Richard Nixon, as he may well look this very minute...

NOTE: The art in this online edition is primarily grey scale, since it was originally done for the newsprint medium, but you can expect future online editions to be glorious full color. I hope you get a fast connection...;-)
