Prograph CPX

I wrote an ad-hoc SQL query client program using the DatabaseAccess XDEF files included with Prograph CPX. There's not much too it, but it might help if you're having trouble dealing with the Toolbox in Prograph. I might post it, but I haven't been working in Prograph lately. I'm under a little too much production pressure to learn a new language (especially one as different as Prograph) right now.

If Pictorius added some sort of 'destructor' method (like the 'finalize' in Java) to the ABC framework classes that was called when each instance was garbage collected, it would be MUCH easier to deal with the Macintosh Toolbox and external memory allocation in general. This problem was one of the reasons I stopped using Prograph for really useful things.

4th Dimension  I've written a stand-alone POP3 mail client in 4D 3.5 that can be added to any database. It relies on the old freeware TCP/IP 'Proc.Ext' externals, so I won't post it since it might shred a V6 database -- I don't know, I haven't tested it. If you really want it, and you don't need it to be PowerPC native, you might be able to persuade me to mail it to you.
